Exceptional Circumstances Adjustment Application

City of Houston Code of Ordinance, Section 47-75.1, allows a residential, not-for-profit or commercial customer one credit adjustment during a twenty-four (24) month period for an exceptional circumstance.
An Exceptional Circumstance Adjustment is a credit for any water/wastewater billed amount in excess of two times the average monthly bill. The credit will not exceed $10,000 and may cover up to two (2) billing cycles.
